How These Metrics Are Measured

TPS - Tokens per Second (Higher is better)

TPS means tokens per second. It is calculated as output tokens received, including thinking tokens when the provider streams them, divided by the time between the first received token and the last received token. Higher TPS is better because the model is generating tokens faster.

TTFT - Time to First Token (Lower is better)

TTFT means time to first token. It is calculated as the time from sending the request from this server to receiving the first streamed token, including thinking tokens. Lower TTFT is better because the model starts responding sooner.
